bodhi.kids — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account on app.bodhi.kids, you agree to these terms on your own behalf and on behalf of the child you enroll.
2. What the service is
A daily seven-minute social-emotional learning practice for children in classes 3–8, delivered through app.bodhi.kids, accessed via a parent account and a separate child login.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent account. The service is designed for children in classes 3–8 enrolled at a school in India (or, for NRI families, a child of equivalent grade level).
4. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your phone number current and your child's login credentials (their lookup code and PIN) reasonably private, the same way you'd treat any shared family device. If you believe your account or your child's login has been compromised, contact us immediately.
5. Subscription and pricing
New accounts begin with a 14-day free trial — no payment method required to start. bodhi.kids is offered at ₹2,999/year at the direct-to-parent rate, or ₹1,499/year when your child's account is linked to a participating school partnership. Each additional child on the same account is ₹1,499/year without a school link, or ₹749/year with one. Pricing is set out in full at the time of payment and will never change mid-subscription without notice. Subscriptions renew automatically each year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date, from Account Settings. Cancelling with less than 24 hours' notice does not stop that cycle's renewal charge.
6. Cancellation and refunds
All payments are final — we don't offer refunds or cancellations once a payment has been made. This is deliberate: every new account gets a full 14-day free trial with no payment method required, specifically so you can try bodhi.kids fully before committing to anything. By the time you pay, you've already had the chance to decide.
You can cancel future renewals at any time from Account Settings, at least 24 hours before your renewal date — this stops the next charge, not the current subscription period, which runs its course as paid.
7. School partnerships
If your child's account is linked to a school via a school code, your subscription rate and certain features (such as your child's teacher seeing weekly participation) are affected by that link, as described in our Privacy Policy. If your school's partnership with bodhi.kids ends, your current billing period is unaffected — your rate holds until your next renewal. At that renewal, if your school is still an active partner, you keep the school rate; if not, your rate reverts to the direct rate.
8. Acceptable use
The service is for personal, non-commercial use by the enrolled family. You agree not to attempt to access another child's account, interfere with the service's operation, or use the service in any way that could harm another user.
9. Your child's writing belongs to your child
Anything your child writes during their practice remains theirs. We do not license it, use it to train any AI system, or use it for any purpose beyond generating that day's private reflection and the aggregate signals described in our Privacy Policy.
10. This is not a substitute for professional care
bodhi.kids is a wellness and social-emotional learning practice — it is not therapy, counselling, or a medical service, and it is not a substitute for professional mental health support. If your child is in crisis or you're concerned about their wellbeing in a way that feels urgent, please contact a qualified mental health professional or a crisis service directly, not this product.
11. Intellectual property
The bodhi.kids name, the daily practice format, the coursework content, and all associated branding are the property of Bodhi Studios Private Limited. This license to use the service doesn't transfer any ownership of that content to you.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bodhi Studios Private Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
13. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe poses a risk to another user's safety.
14. Changes to these terms
If we make a material change to these terms, we'll notify you before it takes effect.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
